We have developed our finishing methods into a complete SIX-STEP procedure, which allows us to offer the guarantee that we do:

1. We treat all wooden parts with pentachlorophenol solution, which helps prevent shrinkage and fungus growth and also kills any pests that may have entered the wood since kiln drying.
2. Next, we hand rub all wooden parts with hot, boiled linseed oil.
3. Our third step is to, again, hand rub oil-based primer into the wood grains and also to paint inside all through holes.
4. After priming, we seal around all metal to wood contact areas with architechtural grade sealant, so there can be no water leakage to wood.
5. Finally, we paint (by hand) the complete carriage with oil-based enamel. We also provide touch-up paint with each carriage (gallons are $39.95).
6. Now at no extra charge a second coat is evenly sprayed over entire carriage with HVLP paint system for even longer protection.

As you can see, our methods are very time-consuming and extensive, but we feel our name is worth every minute we put into every carriage. This is not a hobby for us; it is our full-time occupation!
